about
Unbunny is folk-rock singer and songwriter Jarid del Deo, who has spent the last 13 years recording music under the Unbunny (and Nervous Plants) moniker and ambling from coast to coast, from Portsmouth, NH to Seattle, WA and back again, and then back again (he now resides in Seattle), again, with stops in Urbana, IL and Oakland, CA.

Unbunny has released one other album on Hidden Agenda, that being 2004's Snow Tires, which prompted Comes With A Smile to gush thusly: "What distinguishes Jarid Del Deo's work from other confessional songwriters is a pitch-perfect level of self deprecation, an all important injection of humor which, when coupled with his lyrical and melodic brilliance, rewards the listener on multiple levels."

This Fall 2008 release, Sensory Underload, is a cohesive and near-comprehensive new collection of Unbunny EPs, singles, rarities and unreleased recordings spanning the last dozen years, including the out-of-print Typist EP originally released by Important Records in 2005. Many tracks here appear on CD for the very first time.
